The Internet becomes fully commercialized.
A new element…
Prometheus steals Fire from the gods to gift to Humanity. Zeus discovers this and sentences Prometheus to eternal torment.
Zeus then sends Pandora—an innocent, curious woman—down to Humanity along with a Box.
Pandora’s inquisitive nature led to the utilization of Fire, allowing Humanity to technologically advance.
2020
However, it was her abundance of curiosity which precipitated the downfall of Humanity when she opened the Box.
Fire—initially a beneficial tool—quickly became an instrument of Evil.
Humanity now resides in the Cave, their viewership enthralled by the Shadows.
Their visible world is their entire world.
2025
One of them escapes and sees the true world—the Shadows were illusions.
They pity those who remained behind and are compelled to return.
Present Day
When they return, they attempt to share this newly found Truth.
Humanity chooses ignorance.
They are left no other choice but to take control of the Shadow apparatus and convince Humanity to leave via the medium they already trust.
